Beck Trek - Chapter 5 - Day 4 - Give Yourself Credit

I am prone to not giving myself credit for the things that I know I should have, and for the most part do have, down pat.
I'm a calorie counting/exercising rock star during the week.
I plan, prepare, and follow through. I don't succumb to pressures at work to eat off plan. I get my work out clothes ready for the week on the weekend, and make sure they are all packed up in my bag before Monday. Barring illness or an opportunity to see my grandkids, I show up for my workouts.
These are things I have been doing for years, with just a few slumps here and there. And since I am about to enter my 8th year of maintenance...I feel like I dang sure better have these habits well ingrained.
Weekends are more challenging, but when I do well, I still tend to blow it off and tell myself I am just doing what I SHOULD be doing...nothing special.
So I'm posting sticky notes that say "CREDIT" everywhere, just like the book says. I'm going to try to give myself credit for the little stuff as well as the big stuff. And I will be sure to reward myself (fitness gadgets, clothes and shoes are my favorite rewards) for reaching continued maintenance milestones.
