Happy, happy, joy, joy

Thursday, August 27, 2015

I've really been hoping to get a FitBit for the obvious reasons. As a single parent with a kid in college, it's not exactly in my budget. I've been looking online and was figuring out how much I could put aside every paycheck to purchase one. I get to work today and there's an email from human resources.

They are starting a 10-week fitness challenge and if you sign up...YOU GET A FITBIT FOR $25!!!!! The company is picking up the rest of the cost. You better believe I signed up for this less than 10 minutes after they sent out the email. I'm now the proud owner of a brand new FitBit.

Oh happy days. Let's get this party started.

I am wanting to get one also-I get the 5 dollar cheap pedometers and got through about 5 a year! I could have owned a fitbit by now!! That's a great company to do that. ;0)

    I love mine.

I'm just enough of a giant nerd to enjoy the technological aspect of it, just enough of a charts and graphs guy to love the reporting, and just competitive enough with myself to try to make sure the numbers add up.

If you weren't already aware, you can sync your fitbit/sparkpeople accounts here:
connect-your-device.asp. Food information entered on Spark flows to your fitbit profile, activity information from fitbit flow to your SP account. It's pretty handy.

Good luck and enjoy the Fitbit!

Also if your blog title is a direct Ren & Stimpy reference, you just became 5% cooler.
