As my house is exploding with Fall I thought I'd stick with that theme for my blog today.

Here's why the house is exploding.... we took advantage of Michael's 40% off fall florals today and Maegann couldn't wait until next week to decorate. Here's a couple shots of her work.

The orange lights we bought really made the garland look so pretty.

We decided not to make our "pilgrims" wait until November!

Prior to that I enjoyed having all our windows and screens cleaned while the kids did their schoolwork. Finally got the hard water off the office windows as we haven't had this gal come out since we first moved in and at that time she couldn't get to those two windows.

After that we headed off to do a few errands and then stopped for lunch at McD's (I had a chicken salad.). Next was an oil change, etc., at Jiffy Lube on the "new" car so it is now ready to rock n roll! Tim should have time to move all his things from the truck tonight.

Things have been quiet with Isaac overall, but we have had a couple blips on the day. One at lunch when he felt the need to contradict everything anyone said. He does that too often and it is done because he wants to be right. The next one was just moments ago when he raced out of the house without asking. He's ALWAYS had to ask permission. I found him on the doorstep of the neighbors asking if they could play. They had already played for an hour once home from school and had to go in for homework. Why he thought 15 minutes was enough time for homework is beyond me. He mostly got in trouble for not asking first! He then got mad because I sent him to his room.

Off to make chili for the families supper and chop up veggies for my salad topping container. I don't have much left for protein tonight so will probably just be salad and an apple.

Tomorrow.... gym, school and hopefully Isaac has physical therapy in the afternoon. We are losing Kenzie and her schedule is already hit and miss as she prepares to leave for Washington.

Great decorations! I never got my fall stuff up last year, with my Dad dying in early October. This year I want to be sure to get it put out.

Sorry about the blips with Isaac and about you losing Kenzie! I'm glad it was just blips today though and not major meltdowns.

You are so on the ball, Girl! I love fall decorations (not the scary Halloween ones, though) I have a lovely autumn candle light bear and a light up Pilgrim for later. They didn't see the light of day last year. So hoping things work out better this year! Hoping to get something up the first week in September. After Labor Day I will take down the red, white and blue wreaths. Have a great day!

I love the fall decorations! We've had fall-like weather this week, but it sounds like summer heat is coming back next week.

I don't think about Fall until at least October. Sometimes we're cool in September and then hot again... Isaac sounds so much like my 9 yr. old it's crazy. Contradicting people and insisting that his made-up stuff is right is his favorite sport.

I suspect Isaac thinks that when he gets to be an adult that he gets to do what he wants. HA!

The decorating looks lovely. I should do something to welcome fall into my life. I certainly can't wait for it to get here. Its still so smoky and hot!

Glad your day went well overall and that the Isaac issues seem minimal compared to other days lately.

Enjoy dinner and your evening Janet. Keep getting to that gym - you are doing great!
