Day Two

Yesterday did not go so good.

Not because of out of control eating but because of the dang diarrhea. All day and felt sick going to sleep.

Today is better though. Had a delicious breakfast and some fish and I feel ok so far. I also ate a nut bar from Nature Made which was good too.

So far I like that I can eat food and not feel hungry. I still find myself wanting a few chips so I'll probably need to get them out of the house.

I felt bad about how much protein from meat I have to consume until I saw this one dude on Instagram. He eats 350 grams of protein a DAY! And he looks fantastic too. He's lost like 150 lbs or something like that. So my silly 100 grams isn't so bad.

    Don't worry about what amount others eat for protein. You eat what is needed for you to complete YOUR journey!

    To me 100gms of protein seems like a good amount. I prefer to see that amount of protein instead of empty carbs. I get mine mostly from meat too. I don't do protein drinks. I need to eat more protein though.

    I really like Protein drinks. I drink "Boost" frequently and now, to me, it tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Eating healthy ROCKS! I, too, am amazed by the fact that so much about hunger is just in our minds. As I type this I am snacking on a Dannon Light & Fit 80 calorie yogurt and it is the yummiest thing. Hard to believe that in the past I would have reached for a Hershey Bar.
    I'm sorry that yesterday wasn't a great day for you but so happy that today is better. I love the saying "tomorrow is a new day" because it really IS! I've also learned that I don't have to wait until tomorrow to have a "good day." But.....I think your comments related to the fact that you weren't feeling well yesterday. When I am not feeling well I definitely need a day to "re-boot." A good night's sleep always makes me feel so much better. Sometimes when I am not having a good eating day I tell myself that I will just wait until tomorrow to start over but this is a thinking error. Every MOMENT is an opportunity to turn it around and make better choices.
