Back from the open house; Plover is such a pretty town. We went to the Shrine of Mother Mary (just a curiousity stop) on the way to Necedah Wildlife Refuge on the way home. It was absolutely beautiful, and the story behind it was really interesting. (A woman claims to have seen Mary, mother of Jesus in that spot, it's really amazing just to go through.)
We only saw 5 deer in the refuge, but I couldn't get any good pictures of them; the 3 I could have, a truck was coming from the other direction and he just kept going instead of stopping. If he'd stopped I would have had the perfect shot. Oh well.
We hit a shutdown on I90 because of an accident on the way home around Stoughton area. It was funny, southbound (which we were on) was stopped, but so was northbound. That's what I'll never understand. People going the other direction on the interstate slowing/stopping, just to gawk at the accident and backing up traffic for a long ways behind them. Always happens.
Anyway, we had a meeting with all the Deerhunters at 4pm, got a call as we were headed directly there instead of running hom, from our Daughter and her husband wanting to know why we weren't home. We told them where we were heading, and they said they'd brought our Grandpuppy over to leave at the house (thinking we'd be home by then), and they had no way to get into our house. So we had to drive home and then back into Janesville with them.
We had a great time, and Mike and Nicole, our Son's best friends whose wedding he was in, have a gorgeous house. I'm so happy for them, they deserve it.
I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I'll post of picture of Scott, Nicole, and Mike. Can't resist, Mike is like Scott's twin in every way, physically, and emotionally..I swear they were separated at birth. Mike has been adopted by us, as has Nicole, and Scott has been adopted by both Nicole and Mike's families. It's so funny. Oh, Mike and Scott were roommates in College, that's where they met, and Mike was Nicole's bf in college, so they did everything together.
