Day 52! Check in

50 days in, it's time to reassess what I'm doing and where I'm going.

I dropped off the daily blogging here in favor of putting that time on my personal writing projects, but I've kept up my other fitness goals.

Currently I'm doing two repetitions of the toning videos from the Spark People bootcamp program and one 30 minute video from a series on DailyBurn. I decided that I was going to keep myself at this level until I start to feel less challenged. I'm rapidly approaching that level. After I finish my current 'day 7' of the bootcamp training videos, I'm going to add a third rep and do that for another two-four weeks while I look for a more intensive strength training option. That should see me through the end of my current Daily Burn training program. I'll start up the next 'Intermediate' level of training program there at that point. That program lasts for three months.

So I have the next four months or so planned out fitness-wise, and by the time I reach the end of those opportunities, there will be a gym completed a block from my house.

My current promises to myself include:
2 x a day toning video.
1 DailyBurn video daily.
Drink enough water daily.
Meditate daily.
Read at least 30 minutes.
Write at least 30 minutes (outside of paid work).
Strive to eat healthy and record my meals whenever possible.
