One thing I hate about being fat

Saturday, August 22, 2015

There are a lot of things to not like about being fat but one thing I really loathe is having to spend a fortune on undergarments. It cost a fortune for comfortable panties and bras that fit right. I almost had to take out a small loan tonight to buy some underwear.

I've tried all the discount places like Target and Walmart and the underwear simply don't work. Either they roll down, don't cover the booty all the way or come up to my armpits. And forget bras...yeah, small fortune.

Ok, maybe this is TMI??!! I don't know but I can't wait until I can shop for cheap bras and panties

What do you hate about being fat or overweight?

Well, I can't really identify with the bra or panty dilemma (luckily men's underwear in larger sizes is still relatively inexpensive) but I do feel that I have to pay a hefty premium for big and tall pants, at least if I don't want them to fall apart after a few wears.

Also at my job I dress business casual, which usually involves collared, button down shirts and those get ludicrously expensive and it's tough finding ones that aren't flat out ugly. Apparently fat dudes only deserve garish Hawaiian prints?

Luckily there are a couple stores around here that occasionally have decent clothes and prices for my size, but it's a gamble every time. For every 3 times I visit I may be able to find 1 shirt or pair of pants for less that 30 dollars. Usually I have to wait until tax season (where I can work practically unlimited overtime) and stock up on clothes for the year.

undergarments are ridiculous... But something I find at least where I live impossible to find is t-shirts... Appearentky plus sized stores think I wanna be bedazzled and flashy cause being a big girl I don't stand out enough? Like seriously.

I hate so many things. Undergarments are one, swimsuits are another. Apparently when a women gets to my size, her bust should also be large. Every suit I try on has a bigger chest than I do. Don't even get me started on trying to find clothes for work. WalMart is the only store in my small town and their plus size is basically capris and floral print, sometimes floral capris. And tops that are low cut enough to be inappropriate for work - I don't want to bend over and flash my jr high kids an eyeful.

I agree with you and Dawn, though I think my sweating may be largely caused from menopause--or as I like to say man o pause!! ;0) I also do not like doing an exercise and I can feel more jiggles than is necessary for that particular exerise! There are many things I hate about being fat and many things I love about being a healthy, slimmer individual, so time to get back to the slimmer version of me. GOOD LUCK with your weight loss journey and undergarment search!! emoticon

I hate that I sweat more when I am heavier. In general I don't like to sweat unless I am exercising. For some reason "exercise sweat" is sweeter and smells "healthy." If that makes sense. But just sweating throughout the day because I am too heavy, yuck.

Being somewhat overweight, I know that I don't look as good,
as I probably would, if I were closer to my ideal weight.
I continue to walk and swim, and at the moment, I'm happy
enough about how things are !
