Good Morning! I hope everyone is off to a great start for the week! Last week I was a little 'off'. I enjoyed a bottle of wine with the neighbor last Monday instead of doing my exercises. Fortunately, I did manage to do them the rest of the week, thus staying on a bit of a streak. I've exercised faithfully for the last three weeks.
It's paying off too. I'm able to do a bit more, my back is getting stronger and so is my neck - in the beginning I had to stop and rest between repetitions of crunches because my neck would get tired. Now I can whiz on through. My legs are stronger too and my posture seems a bit (a tiny bit) better.
Now about that food thing. Ugh! Well, when I started out, it wasn't about the food yet anyway. I know I need to lose and I know what to do. It's a matter of truly wanting to do it. This past weekend was full of food beginning with Saturday morning Prayer Breakfast. Tons of different breakfast casseroles, pastries, bagles, you name it. I did eat some fruit to try to balance it out a bit.
Then on Sunday morning they served the leftovers during the fellowship time. I didn't have to eat it, and I didn't eat much. It was more of a social thing than really wanting it. Something I need to work on.
