Day 223

Tuesday, August 11, 2015

emoticon Today I weighed in at: 251.2. Will I ever actually lose those two pounds or will I just keep yo-yoing?

emoticon I did really good yesterday staying active! And I did awesome on my workout! I was wore out by the time my workout was done but I still managed to stay up and moving afterwards, vacuuming and cleaning. I'm sore and tired still, but it is worth it! I think I may need to add some extra stretching to my routine, though.

emoticon I did pretty good on food yesterday. DH made stroganoff, and yes I had some, and no it wasn't a healthy version. But I did save my calories for dinner by eating a small breakfast and lunch. I do think I went over my calories some, but not by much. I guess-timated my calories using the nutrition tracker and according to it I went over a little bit because of the bread. I've got to watch myself with the homemade bread, I've been making a lot of it. It's one of my favorite things, but it is just empty calories, no nutrition found there.

emoticon I may have gotten a lot done yesterday, but I was in the grumpiest mood. I find that when I oversleep I get so grumpy! Even working out didn't cheer me up. I'm determined not to get in that grumpy of a mood again! I will restart my day if I have to. Have you ever done that, restarted your day? I usually lay down for at least 30 minutes, then get up and have coffee and do whatever I normally do when I first get up. It really helps sometimes to say "forget this, I'm starting over" to have a better day. I don't do it often. but it has helped the few times I've done it.

emoticon I'm loving the nutrition tracker. I track all my vitamins and foods first thing in the morning or the night before. It makes it where I don't have to guess that I'm eating healthy, I know I am. And it becomes almost like a jigsaw puzzle, trying to fit enough in but make it under my goal limit. And keep check on things like protein, sodium, calcium, making sure I get enough, but not too much. Now to use the activity tracker more often!

Could it be possibly the homemade bread that is preventing you to lose weight? I would stop baking bread until you have a handle on your weight situation. I know it is hard to do, but if you want results, you sometimes have to do what you really don't want to do.

I hope you're "new" restarted day gets you back on track and brightens your mood but even if the restart doesn't get you out of your grumpy mood you'll be okay and be able to push through. Maybe you and the girls could go out and jump in some mud puddles together if its raining or run throygh the sprinklers together. Sometimes you just have to act like a kid to lift your mood! emoticon emoticon
