A new week, a new opportunity to start fresh yet again
Today I need to focus on taking care of MY needs. I've been out of protein drinks and fiber powder for several days now. I was busy running around taking care of family's "wants" (they are old enough to take care of their own needs).
Yesterday I drove 30 min to Costco to get 'MY' items and discovered that I left my card purse at home in the softball bag. ARGH!!!!!
Drove back home and was out of time as I'm helping DD#1 conduct tryouts for her Fall team (paperwork is my forte, NOT fieldwork
Went to local grocery store instead. Scored on Pure protein bar mark downs, but they didn't have my favored Premier Protein drinks
Tried Pure Protein vanilla shake: two words: NOT AGAIN. I'll drink them as I'm inherently cheap and can't bear to throw good food away. I'll MAKE time to get to Costco TODAY and buy 2 cases of Premier protein drink (maybe even 3!
Forgot to get fiber powder too, so looks like I'll be busting out the prune juice (Tablespoon 50% juice to 50% water)
Also haven't been doing my Park Circuit walking/jogging, so am back to
of just walking. I've discovered that I CAN push the jogging but when I do, I'm wiped out for DAYS
. Better to stick with manageable Baby Steps. Just walking the first day or so, then add 50-100 jog steps per day after. I was VERY successful with that program until my routine was disrupted by life stuff.
