still going strong

Monday, August 10, 2015

Now at 257 days in this journey. I have had my ups and downs. As long as I am getting stronger and toner and healthier and lighter I have considered it a success. My weight as gone down drastically. I started off at 297. I am now hovering between 245-250. I am proud of myself. I am seeing muscles begin to form in my arms and legs. My stomach is getting smaller and I can do more crunches than I used to. I can even do push=ups on my knees. I can run over 3 miles. I have been able to accomplish a lot in these 257 days. I am looking forward to the next 200 days. I want to add more miles to my running, more pounds to my weight lifting, less weight on the scale, be able to do a no knee push up.

I am also excited about being able to wear clothes that I have not been able to wear in a while. It is like I have a whole new closet. I am looking forward to being able to make it into the next set of clothes. I was at a size 24 when I started this journey. Those now fall off of me. 22/24 are on the big side for me also. 22 is getting to be too big. 20 is fitting just fine right now. I am looking forward to being able to wear size 18 again. I have a few cute skirts that I am hoping to wear by the end of this year :)

I am going to continue to plug along and try to accomplish these little goals that I have set up for myself. I am going to try the 21 day fix containers to try to help with the weight loss. I am excited to try them. Will share my experience with them once I start.

You are doing so great!!! How exciting to be able to get into a new size. I keep telling myself I'm not buying a thing until my old clothes are too big! Hopefully that won't be too much longer. Keep up the good work!
