Good Week-Glad It's Over!
Saturday, August 01, 2015
I'm wishing my life away but I am glad that one is in the books. We are waiting for a unit lockdown and it is stressful for all of us. The offenders are not looking forward to being locked into their hot dormitories with no air conditioning for a week and I am resentful of losing a week's teaching time. I wish they would just get the thing over with so we could go on with our business of GED prep.
Lighter note: I've been using a cleaning system courtesy of FlyLady.com and all I can say is if you are chronically disorganized or simply overburdened with stuffitis as I am, you need to try this. My bathroom has been consistently clean since I started, my bedroom and den closets are clean, I actually have all my various projects; embroidery, genealogy, scrapbooking together in their own containers so it isn't hard to pull one out and work on a project when I have a few minutes. My goal is to have the entire house deep-cleaned by the time I retire so I can get the interior/exterior painting done and the hardwood floors refinished, and just kick back for the rest of my non-working years. Maybe read, write, travel...
