Today's weight is: 252.4
I ended up with more calories than I wanted yesterday. I ended up eating out twice. Once for lunch because I wanted to, I ate Thai food. And once for dinner because DH wanted to. I chose the healthy option both times, but when two of your meals are around 600+ calories, your going to go over your goal.
I didn't work out yesterday. I was going to after then kids went to bed, but they ended up going to bed around 9:45, which is my bedtime! So as soon as I finish here I'm going to go work out. Then I'll come downstairs and do a Yoga video with my girls. I'd rather do pilates, but they didn't like the look of that video. I've got to get some strength training in too and I mean I'd like a longer workout, I want to increase my muscles! So today I'm going to look for a video on SP that I can do and then I'm going to do it! That makes for rather a lot of working out, but I'm pumped to do it. I know that unless I really put some effort into it the weight is not going to come off. So that makes 45 minutes of cardio, 15-20 minutes of yoga/pilates, and then however long the strength training video is, at least 10-30 minutes. Plus, after I work out I clean the girls rooms for 15 minutes each and then clean the garage for 15 minutes
I woke up almost an hour late this morning. I'm still working on trying to get my early mornings in. I turned off the alarm and thought "okay, I'm going to get up" and then it was starting to turn daylight. *sigh* I'll get it one of these days!! I'm trying to get up around 0530 so I can go work out around 0600 and be done before 0700 (well, done with the cardio part).
The girls had a blast at church last night. They had a giant waterslide set up this summer and last night was the end of it for this year, they are packing it up. My youngest said she wasn't going to go down it. So I got her to promise me she would go down it at least once. She went on it 9 times! My oldest had no such problem, she had a blast with her shark floaty to go down on. It's a shame they are packing it up, Summer technically has one more month to it. Yes, August is part of Summer, no Fall.
Happily we don't start full school till the end of August. We are doing school now, but we only do it after lunch, in the morning we play and clean (and work out) and go to the pool. One is on the computer while the other one is doing the stuff they can do off of the computer
So this is what my mornings are looking like right now:
Aerobic exercise: 45 minutes
Clean both girls rooms: 15 minutes each
Yoga/Plates: 15-20 minutes
Strength training:10-30 minutes
Clean/declutter garage:15 minutes
Quick shower: 10 minutes
pool: 60 minutes
.... and that is one full and busy morning! Which is why I need to get up earlier! We may not make it to the pool today, I'm not feeling like going, but perhaps we will. It is a great way to cool off after all that working out, but I'm usually really tired by the time we get there too. DH forgot his phone at church last night, so I can't start my work out till I wake him up (I was hoping to be done in time to wake him up, but that is what I get for not getting up with my alarm).
Today my friend will probably come over, so that means no school today. She doesn't even get going till around 10-11 in the morning, so she comes over around 12-1 and 1 is when we usually start school. Oh-well, maybe we can start school early so that it will just interupt school not totally put it off.
I watched another Extreme Weight Loss and I'm pumped! This was the one where the guy and girl both finish in 6 months instead of the whole year. The show just inspires me to work out more (hence my adding of more stuff to my morning routine). I've got to get my eating under control and not eat out so much so that i can control the calorie count better. I love that the kids school is partly on the computer. It gives me a reason to be up and moving around and doing more around the house. Not wasting my days on the computer.
I can do better, I know I can. I can't let my Wednesday's derail me. I will eat breakfast, I will eat at home, I will get up earlier so that I can work out before I leave for my appointments.
