What an awesome day I had. Taking my first hike since my surgery on June 16th was incredible. Unfortunately would you believe that my cell took better pictures than camera!?? So I have only 3 pictures to for my blog.

Mary and I went to Crawford Notch in Northern New Hampshire this morning and what a beautiful morning to hike. Temps in the low to mid 70s with a nice breeze. We started off by hiking around the pond (which is where I used that darn camera) before heading to the Beecher and Pearl Cascades which are on the same trail. Mary and I hiked to Pearl Cascade and ate. We then headed back to Beecher Cascade and then to the main trail to head to the parking log.

Mary and I are already planning another hike and plan on starting to hike the 4,000 foot mountains of NH-the tallest being Mount Washington! What a great day and a great start to enjoying my return to good health.
