For Today, July 21, 2015 entry lead me to contemplate how often others success instantly makes me want what they have. Not the work they did to find their successful plan but the reward. I just keep trying, that's about the most successful thing I've been doing for the past 2 years.
Two months ago, I attended an abstinence workshop/retreat and learned everyone's blueprint of abstinence starts with delayed gratification and focus on deleting our worst behaviors one day at a time. Also, what can I substitute for the food's gratification and reward that will lead me to serve and become a better person.
I'm happier today then 60 days ago. I have reasons to be hopeful compared to 2 years ago.
What is your plan, your individualized plan, a plan that will strengthen your physical, spiritual, and emotional platform? I choose to reflect upon this today and make sure my action plan is uniquely mine!!!

For Today, July 21
"When it came to physical recovery and adopting a plan of eating, I had always tried what someone else was doing. Experience eventually taught me that other people's food plans did not work for me. The compulsion stayed with me until I prayed to be led to the plan of eating that would work best for me. Then I prayed for the willingness to row the boat, to take action with a plan of eating one meal, one day at a time. As a result, I have been attending Overeaters Anonymous, free of the compulsion for almost a year."
