The new Singer

Yesterday I took you on a tour down Memory Lane concerning the old treddle Singer sewing machine that I learned to sew on. Today I will talk about the new Singer that I will be giving my Mom tomorrow.
Mom loves the old. She will wear an old coat or shirt until it is completely worn out, and we have to tell her that it's time to get rid of it. Then it goes into her rag pile if it is cotton.
Mom loves her sewing machine, and will use it with the broken presser foot. I have concern for Mama's 93 year young fingers getting sewed.
The other day, she asked me to fix her machine so that she could make baby Lina a bag to go with the dress that I'm making for her birthday.
The machine needs more help than I can give. Telling my mom that her machine is broken does no good. I went out and bought her a new machine. Yesterday I told her that I bought the machine. Tomorrow is delivery day!
