First 15 gone!

I have never lost 15 pounds so "easily" before. This moderation thing is definitely working for me. I don't feel like I'm on a diet. (Because, duh, I'm NOT on a diet.) I am not constantly sore from overtraining (usually the case when I attack a new workout regime).
What's strange is that I have been telling myself "slow and steady." I really don't care if the weight comes off by the end of the year, by the beginning of next summer... as long as I'm moving in the right direction, my focus is really on making my choices sustainable, discovering new things I enjoy (activities, foods, etc.) and attitude. (Loving myself, however far I would like to eventually go with becoming more fit.)
And voila... it's working at a steady 2 pounds a week.
Major lesson learned. (After only a dozen years of on-again / off-again failed weight loss efforts.)
