2015 5%Summer Challenge

I enjoyed participating in and was successful with the 2015 5% Spring challenge. I did loose 5% of my weight and I was one of three 'last firecrackers standing' I also was lucky enough to win a Spark Cookbook, so now I have lots of new ideas for all the veggies I am getting from my CSA.

For this challenge my plans are as follows:


1. Eat in range of 1200-1500 calories per day; track all food
2. Diet will be 40% Carbohydrates, 30% fat and 30% Protein.
3. Also at least 25 gm fiber/day,Total Fat less than 50 gm per day, less than 18 gm saturated fat and zero trans fat each day

Exercise plan

1. Exercise at least 10 min a day, every day and track all fitness
2. Back exercises or yoga 5x week
3. Strength, whole body 3x per week
4. Cardio 6x / week, Cardio dvd will be my main exercise but I may jon a pool in August
5. One day of active recovery

Other Information: I have set up a reward system
1. Get a massage every month that I exercise at least 10 min a day.
2. Get a facial for every 20 lb weight loss.

I am due a massage which I need to schedule. And I only have 4 lb until the next facial
