6/25- So many decisions, so little time!

Thursday, June 25, 2015

My husband has officially been hired for his new job! He starts July 6th! Now we have to decide how we're going to handle that, since his job is about 3 hours from mine. The ultimate goal is for me to get done and go back to school this fall, and for us to move to the school district my step-kids currently attend, which would be a long but acceptable commute for both of us to get to work/school. But for the time being; do we keep our current apartment and my job while he finds a place to stay near his during the week? Do we take the first rental option in the area we want and move immediately (meaning I get done work next week!)? So much to figure out! We currently only have one vehicle since his accident during the winter, so that hampers our options as well. We really only have the budget for the moving costs or a down payment (or really cheap car), not both. We've only got a week to get it all figured out!

Tough choices. With a commute of three hours that is a long way but also the cost of gas.
If you go to school how old are the children.
You have a long discussion about this.
    Pat in Maine.

That is a lot of decisions to make in a short amount of time. It's so hard to know what to do sometimes, but I am sure you will make the right ones for your family.

Good luck to you and congratulations to your husband on the new job!
