It's been a long time since I've posted here.

It's been a long time since I've blogged anywhere.

It's been even longer since I've lost any weight.

I'm not sure what happened to me. I don't know what happened to make me give up on myself. I don't know how I could allow myself to go from 145 pounds post partum to the 175 pounds I am today but I do know this: I'm tired of being this unhappy. And I'm tired of being fat. And I'm ready to do something about it. Not tomorrow, not when my vacation's over and I head back to Chicago.


I'm ready to do something about this right now.

    You guys are absolutely the best! Thank you so much for your support and advice. I've already taken a big step by tracking what I ate for breakfast this morning. Baby steps right? I'm going to take it one step at a time! emoticon

    I let myself go from 138 to 172 years ago and for many years boucing up and down between there for many other years.

    So no more fat talk, no more "I have to" conversations with yourself. Take baby steps each day. Try for at least 10 minutes of activity every day. Build on that once you are used to it.

    Try to eat a little bit smaller portions of your favorite foods. Once you get used to that, look into making some healthy swaps, add a few more fruits and veggies as snacks and more water.

    Small, healthy changes every day, add up to greatness!
