Day 176/ Ultrasound Results

My doctor's nurse finally called with the results from my ultrasound and labwork. The labwork was fine except for my liver function, which was high. My liver has fatty deposits on in, also known as fatty liver disease. And I have gallstones. I'm being referred to a specialist. The liver I'm told if I eat right and lose weight it can be reversed. The gallstones though... my friend just had hers removed after a 'gallbladder attack' which she said was excruciating. My liver I need to save, fix, help, because you only get one of those and you need it. I'm told you can go without a gall bladder, but it does serve a pretty important function. Here's hoping it can be saved to.
So, if I wasn't already pumped up about losing weight, that thing with my liver made me even more so. Must save my liver! I'm going to be my own best cheerleader. I'm not going to let myself give up. I need to look at what a liver and gallbladder friendly diet consists of, or I guess what I need to stop eating. I already am doing the 60 Day Summer Challenge, I'm going to stick to that and use this time as a way to tweak what I'm eating and how much I exercise to fit what I need to be doing.
I'm working on improving how much cardio I can get in and how much intensity I can handle. This week I'm just doing the WiiFit step aerobics (trying for twice a day, but usually get only 1). I'm going to add the riser for 600 steps next week and then I'm going to add part of an exercise video. We'll see how quickly I can improve, but I want to keep it challenging. I'm so out of shape, just the Wii- step is challenging right now. Going to add strenght training for the next three days. I also want to find a pilates/yoga video I can do with the kids every day.
I may have to stop drinking coffee. It's getting in the way of me working out, and makes it where I don't want to have my shake. Having my shake is more important than coffee. The last two days I did not have a shake, and it was because I wanted to have coffee. I love coffee and giving it up would be hard. So I'm going to give myself the rest of the challenge. If at any point I can't drink my shake because of coffee, I'll have to ditch the coffee. I hate to do that, but I need to be drinking that shake.
I will not be defeated!!

I seriously did this. And it was awesome. People don't know how to react to that! I had to repeat myself 3 times before the person finally got it. LOL
