June 24- Just call me Grace :-/

Wednesday, June 24, 2015

I've always been quite a klutz, but yesterday I outdid myself. I managed to catch the toe of my shoe about half-way down the stairs at work, and stumbled and flailed my way down the rest of them. The upside is that I didn't actually fall, the downside is that every part of me ached with the effort of not falling, and I nearly gave myself and my office manager heart attacks!
Due to my stunning display of acrobatics, I didn't end up going to the gym last night. Instead i went home and soaked in an epsom salt bath and went to bed early. My foot is bruised and sore on the top of it from twisting it, and my shoulder is a little sore from wrenching it when I tried to catch myself on the stair rail, but I'm not in horrible shape today.
I do plan on going to the gym tonight, but depending on how my foot is feeling, it may not be to use the rowing machine. I don't know if I could handle having my foot strapped into anything right now. I might just bike or treadmill instead. We shall see!

Goodness gracious!!! That's crazy! I totally understand tripping and stuff. I tend to do it when I'm rushing (which is a lot).

I hope you feel better soon! I'm sure you'll heal up quick. Might be a good time to try swimming! :-)

Wow! You are so lucky that you weren't seriously hurt. Feel better. Give your foot time to heal.

You were lucky not to have broken anything. May want to consider closed-toe shoes.
