June 23- Getting Stronger

So far so good on my new rowing goal. I ended last week with 5000m in 33:30. Yesterday I accomplished the same distance in 32:18. Once I get to the point where I can do that in 30 minutes or less, I'll up the intensity to the next level and start again. My goal is to get to level 5 in 30 minutes. I may not row every time I go to the gym, especially if my knee isn't going to be up to it (I chipped my knee cap as a kid, the bone fragments are still floating around and cause inflammation sometimes if I'm putting too much stress on my knee.), so I'll keep things flexible, but I love the all-over workout of the rowing machine. My arms, shoulders, abs, and legs are all getting used and stronger.
The scale was down this morning as well, hopefully that trend continues! :)
