What does that even mean?! haha
Oh well, this is another song that I've been super into while getting my workout in. Yesterday I managed to get on my elliptical and push it for as hard as I could for 6 mins. I then went on to do a circuit of donkey kicks, squats, bicep curls, tricep curls, crunches and side kicks. Super random but I just do what feels right until I sweat and start breathing heavy. I woke up early this morning and did Beachbody's T25 Speed 1.0. Worked up a good sweat and I'm happy to have my workout out of the way for today!
My nutrition was pretty good.
Breakfast - oatmeal, raisins, cinnamon, 3 egg whites and 1 yolk
Snack - chobani greek yogurt (coconut and almonds/dark chocolate)
Lunch - chicken tacos with corn/wheat tortillas, cilantro salsa and sprinkle of mexican cheese
Snack - vanilla roasted almonds with an apple
Dinner - meal replacement shake, the rest of the chicken tacos(chicken only), handful of carrots dipped in hummus
I feel like dinner was pretty heavy but at least it was healthy.
I got on the scale this morning and it showed 176.2. Not discouraged though since I started the week at 179.
I have three big events this weekend. My friend graduates from grad school and celebrates her 30th birthday then father's day. Crazy thing is I'm not even worried about food. I know that I'll choose healthier options. I've chosen not to drink this weekend which will also strengthen my willpower. I've got this!
While working out last night, I was pumping myself up and just kept saying it took way longer than 2 days to get this body so it's going to take more than 2 days to get to the best shape of my life. But in 2 days, I already feel so much better and that's what this is really about. Sure, I want to look sexy and love shopping again but I truly just want to be able to walk up the stairs without a change in my breathing. I want to keep up with my son once he starts walking and playing outside. I want to not sweat every time I do something of small labor. I want my body to perform in the most optimal way and I'm not going to get there by continuing my habits of eating fast food and sitting on my booty watching television. I'm over it...
I hope you all have a fun, strong and healthy weekend!
