Kissing My Butt Good-Bye!!

Stepped on the scale this morning...168.8! Wow...can't believe I'm in the 160's again. I haven't been this small in over 7 years. I also went to Target and tried on some workout clothes. I almost took a selfie of me in booty shorts and a sports bra (I didn't buy the booty shorts). That's how much my body has changed.


My butt, which used to knock things over because I never knew how far it extended behind me, is much smaller and firmer now. It is disappearing! My legs are getting muscle definition and I can do a real, strict pull-up. I have muscle definition in my back, real definition.

THANK YOU CrossFit for changing/saving my life!

CrossFit has shown me that's it's okay to lift weights, for real. Heavy weights, it's okay! It has also shown me that I can overcome things that looked impossible months ago. I can do things I never thought possible, because I put the work in.

I go to class at least three days a week. I also Olympic Lift 2 - 3 times a week. I love it!

The only thing I can say to people beginning their journey is....this is HARD! Find something you love to do, do some strength training, and slowly make changes to your food choices. There is no magic pill that will give you long term change! What will give you the long term change is SHOWING UP and PUTTING THE WORK IN!!!
