Wednesday, June 10, 2015

Hey Everyone,
So I had a dentist apt and things are good no cavaties but I need to go back on Monday to finish my cleaning at dentist. I do have a problem with my bottom part of my teeth and them not being good and just I need to take care of that part of my mouth better by flossing that area more and brushing more you know? I will keep you posted ok.

So today I walked to dentist and walked home from dentist and so that's my work out and etc.
My blood sugars were 4.5 in morning and 6.4 before dinner and will check blood before bed and keep you posted.
My average blood sugars are 7.7/138.6 forn the last 10 months so that makes my average A1C 6.43 so that's good its under 7% so. When I see my Diabetes Team I will see how my A1C was to get a more accurate reading and will get my cholesterol readings.

Here are my cholesterol readings I got from the dr when they called me with results:
Triglycerides: 2.28/41.04 (higher then it should be should be lower then 2.0/40
Total Cholesterol:4.49/80.82
HDL Cholesterol: .96/17.28 (should be higher then 1.2/40
LDL Cholesterol: 2.49/44.82
Cholesterol/Ratio: 3.53/63.54

Here are the guidelines for cholesterol and etc.
A total cholesterol less than 5.2 mmol/L (200 mg/dL);
An LDL-cholesterol less than 3.5 mmol/L (about 130 mg/dL);
An HDL-cholesterol higher than 1.0 mmol/L for men and 1.2 mmol/L for women (about 40 mg/dL);
A total cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol ratio less than 5.0. - See more at: http://www.becel.ca/en/proacti

The dentist said take your toothbrush and toothpaste to work with you to brush more then 2 times a day. And I will do that. Keep you posted.

    It was a quiet night in Georgia. Have you thought about starting a streak for brushing and flossing? This can help keep you accountable.

    No tornado watches, etc. here, though we did have a brief storm last night.

    we get lots of tornado and thunderstorm watches, warning here in SC

    good luck with your cholesterol. There is a very specialized test for cholesterol which shows your heredity and other factors which influence how best to treat your numbers. A lot of people just can not handle the conventional treatments for how to lower it but this test showed us all our factors and the best way to help lower it
