To Scale Or Not To Scale, That Is The Question

I am one of these people that weigh every day. Yes, it is a little bit o.c.d., but I have my reasons.

Today I went in to weigh and realized that my scale battery had died.

O.K. you might be thinking that it has died from me weighing in every day, that may be only part of the reason.

I have a 7 year old cat that likes to lay on my scale. She weighs about 15+ pounds.

When I noticed that she was laying/sleeping on my scale, I would try to remember to pick it up and put it on my desk. I did not always remember to do that.

Then I noticed part of the digital was missing or blurry. So by her consistently laying on my scale she has given my scale battery an early demise.

I do have an older Doctor type scale. I dug it out of the moth balls today (not really in moth balls). I did have it hidden behind the dining room curtains. LOL.

I love that old Dr's scale, but my digital scale tells it like it is.
