The Life I Want To Live - Chapter 4
Monday, June 08, 2015
While commenting on a Sparkfriend's blog today (Thanks, Barb, for the thought-provoking blog), it occurred to me that I want to live in a comfortable body.
It seems such an obvious thing to say, but guess what? I need nudges, reminders, and Sparkfriends in order to remember that in the active part of my mind.
I want to live in a comfortable body.
I want to tie my shoes without having to do that weird pregnant-lady spread (which was ok when I was preggers, not so much now).
I want to sit in an airplane seat and easily bend over the once-every-20-minutes required by my son to get another distraction/food/tissue/headph
ones from our under-seat carry-on bags.
(um, I've tried to edit this blog 3x, and Sparkpeople interface keeps splitting the word "headphones" even when I put in a hyphen - sorry for the weirdness)
I want to be able to dry my denim in the dryer again. The pants are kinda rough and crispy when air dried but right now it's a bit snug if I throw them in the dryer.
I could go on and on here, but you get the gist. This is part of the life I want to live. I just want to choose good snacks, the right amount, and move enough to feel comfortable in my body.
I really, truly want this. And yes, I want reminders on blogs, in chats, on walls, in goodies, and, maybe tattooed on my inner eyelids (ok, maybe not the last one). It's why I Spark!
