Always looking

Monday, June 08, 2015

for something different to make for dinner. Hubs is hard to cook for because he doesn't hardly do veggies. I have to really work at getting things healthy and good and he will eat. Tonight I am making a sp recipe Coca cola chicken. No need for the oven! It is turning hot here quickly. AC went on Saturday emoticon Hate that bill but thankful for the AC!

Here is the link. I will let you know how it turns out!

The recipe sounds like it would be good, only thing, I don't like Coke, anyway, hopefully your husband enjoyed the chicken...I feel for you, it's hard cooking for someone who has so many dislikes and for ones who have allergies, I've been there with both cooking for my grandson when he was a little younger, he is better now..

About the AC, I'm with you on that one but am happy to have it now we are in a heat wave... emoticon emoticon

David will eat anything I put in front of him....when we first got married
and he came home everyday from work, I would have something different
cooked up....his favorite was Swiss Steak(fixed in the crock pot.) He loves
it....he told me once it was so fun to come home because the house always
    smelled so lovely....(lol)

In all fairness, he always had to do the cooking he felt like he
    was being spoiled....

I feel ya! I must say, I think about cooking something different often, then I start thinking about the time I will need to spend in the kitchen while everyone is stting back relaxing and then I resort to the simpliest thing I can find. Just saying... emoticon
Oh, and the AC bill. I feel ya on that too.
