It's go time....
I know what I need to do...everything is in place...the nutrition and fitness plans...my goals...support...equipment...
workout gear...so what the heck is missing? What's stopping me from really digging in and going for it??
I don't normally talk about my family too much, but a lot has happened recently that has really got me thinking what do they have that I'm missing??
I have 2 amazing relatives that have stepped WAY out of their comfort zones, committed to and competed in a hard core fitness competition. They trained and followed a strict nutrition regime for 12 weeks!! Stuck to it...(even joking about how excited she was getting to eat an oatmeal pancake on a carb day!! yikes!!) Needless to say,,they had huge fears, but overcame them, worked their butts off and competed!
They felt AMAZING--ACCOMPLISHED--STRONG!
! Said if she could do it,,anyone could!!
The next person who has inspired me is putting herself WAY out there by competing in an international pageant!! WHAT?? I think she's crazy ha ha but it's something she has always wanted to do and she is just going to GO FOR IT!!!
She's got a plan for fitness/nutrition in place, she has to model an evening gown and fitness apparel and do an interview... competing against other woman from all over the world...OMG!!
I about have a heart attack just thinking about that!! ha ha
And lastly is my daughter...she has finally decided on a college and a career path...
this path is taking her out of state come September.
She has been working 2 jobs, staying super focused, excited and a little nervous...(I don't even want to talk about it!!boo hoo)
So what's the point to this blog?? Why share all this info?? I've figured out what is missing for me...it's what these beautiful women in my life have:
They all have big dreams...big goals...big plans...they put it all into motion and they're getting it done!! I WANT THIS... I CAN HAVE THIS!!
So I've decided to put myself out here...be accountable to all my SparkFriends... I'm starting a challenge..starting Monday June 1 going thru September 7th (Labor Day) this is 14 weeks. I've got goals for fitness/nutrition and I'm planning on losing 15lbs!
So I wanted to put this out there to everyone and anyone who'd like to join me?
I figured we could post on a blog at least once a week, report on goals we met..weight we lost.. questions we might have for each other...reward ideas,, encouragement,,accountability ? ? Nothing super structured, just knowing someone else out there is working for a goal at the same time might be a big support and accountability.... up to you!! I'm going for it... I found what I've been missing... DRIVE .... DETERMINATION .... DEDICATION ...DISCIPLINE!! Let's get it!!
