Amen!! And our God is an awesome God. He shows us how to live, love, laugh, care and show kindness. He is all encompassing and compassionate. I would never live without God as my Father.

Betty, without God there would be no hope. Without God, there would be no love.
Without God, there would be no wonderful Christian people who help me cope with life on this Earth. We would be doomed without God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I thank God every day that He sent His Son to die for us, so that we may be saved from this evil world. Thanks so much for a beautiful blog! emoticon

    Beautiful blog, Betty!

When I first read your title, I thought that all one need do is to look at 98% of what is transpiring on planet Earth & there is the answer. This is a dark place we find ourselves sojourning. We must keep our eyes on Jesus to stay in His unique & wonderful light. He is the Light of the World! Yes, indeed!

    God bless!

There would be no hope, no meaning and no purpose. We would all live for ourselves and be full of pride, arrogance and self-ambition. Worst of all, there would be no love, because love comes from God. That would mean no family connections or togetherness, no relationships based on anything but self gain, and hatred to all our fellow humans. Sadly, what I am describing is what most of the world is like today. Most of the world's people reject God and live for themselves. There cannot be a world without God, but many people live like there is and the devastation, sadness, evil, sin, etc. that we see is a result. Thank you for this post Betty. Very thought provoking. I am thankful in the midst of all we see, we who know God understand a day will come where all of this gone and what's left will be only of Him.

Aw, Betty, you are so right! I am so thankful to have God in my life. I know I would have died twelve years ago if God had not intervened. The odds were against me and doctors told my family death was imminent.

I agree Betty because of sin the world only gets worse but the Bible tells us that God always had a plan to Redeem us and restore our relationship with him forever. If we would accept Jesus as our Savior and his sacrifice as payment for our sin. We can't save ourselves the world makes lots of substitutions and false promises but Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man can come to the Father, except by me.Jesus over came death and sin. He truly loves us more than anyone on earth ever could. I trust him more than I trust any works. The Bible speaks for its self it tells us about the past the present and the future. It tells us how we should live. Love him, forgive others and love others.I am working on giving up the distractions and junk and focusing on loving and doing where he put me. I am so thankful I don't have to save myself. I couldn't do it only Jesus can do that.
