Day 2: DDPyoga

This morning we woke up again for DDP yoga. Hubby forced me out of bed this morning. I haven't been sleeping well and I notice that the more I exercise regularly the less I sleep. I also had found out yesterday that I have 2 more interviews coming up. For some reason I freaked out about that a little yesterday. I definitely went and did some shopping therapy on the way home from work. New yoga mats, blocks, and straps for us! The key to success is preparation.

We decided to jump right in and did Energy! I really liked this routine. Boy was I sweating by the end of it. Sweat dripping off my face. My thighs and hips are feeling it today, but in a good way. Oh, and I got a good laugh because apparently my husband has decided that this is DDP naked yoga. That man kills me!

    DDP yoga is designed by a professional wrestler, Diamond Dallas Page. He found the benefits of yoga when he was in the prime of his career and blew out his back. It's zero impact yoga that includes lots of isometrics. The more I look into DDP yoga the more people I find who have lost so much weight using the program. His biggest win was helping a disabled military vet who never thought he would walk unassisted again. He now runs!

    The sleep thing I'm used to for the most part. I just need 2 weeks to get into a new wake schedule and things will work out. I don't really need more than 6 hours of sleep a night, as long as it's restful.
