I have successfully completed my 21 Day Sugar Detox and I feel amazing! There were days when it was hard in the first week or two but after that it wasn't hard anymore and I have been feeling on top of the world! I plan to continue eating a low sugar lifestyle as it makes me feel very good. I will slowly add back more fruit than I was eating but probably not more than 2 servings of fruit per day. I plan to continue eating large amounts of non-starchy vegetables and moderate starchy veggies. I will also return small amount of raw honey and pure maple syrup to my eating but only if I really want it, it will not be a staple of my everyday eating.
My ankle is still bothering me off and on. We are pretty sure I pulled one of the muscles that is wrapped around the ankle. So I am still being very gentle with my exercise. I have started doing the Bikini body mommy challenge 3.0 again from where I left off, just modifying the moves to prevent any further injury, as well as adding in an extra rest day where needed as it is far more intense than the previous challenge.
I have shredded 2 lbs in the past 21 days and am very happy with that as well as I have gone from a size 14 pants to a size 12! I can officially fit into a pair of my old jeans!!! Going to keep focusing on what I put into my mouth and continue with carefully modified exercise while my ankle continues to heal!
