Sick babies are not fun babies

Tuesday, May 26, 2015

I am exhausted today! I only got 3 hours of sleep last night because apparently when Isabelle is sick she does not want her bottle or to lay on the floor no one must be holding her swinging side to side telling her everything will be ok, while she still fusses a little. Needless to say it was a long night and by midnight I was ready to just drive and drive with her hoping that would help but she doesn't like driving so I put her in the car seat and she instantly stopped crying gave her her bottle and she was out just like that, now don't judge me but I let her sleep in her car seat because I did not want to wake her up again and get no sleep at all.

As for my goals and everything last night. Got off work early and so when I got home we took a family walk to McDonalds, I know not the healthiest of places but it was an incentive to get Serenity to go plus it's farther than Wal-Mart we've been walking to. So with that round trip stopping and shoping at Wal-Mart it came out to 3.33 miles. Now I fought with myself about that being good enough but knowing I set my goal to 4 miles, (actually I thought I set it to 5), I knew I had to get it. After diner which was yummy chicken salad with avacado and croutons and ranch I waited about an hour and did 40 mintes on the treadmill, 20 at 3.5 and 20 at 3.1. So it balanced out to like 2.10 miles so 5.43 miles done yesterday and 1 of those at a faster pace!

I did stay within the calories too, at mcdonalds I got the burger with no bun, and used the lettuce and ate a little salad, but I wont lie I did have a portion of the fries, because they were watching me! And of course the chicken salad for dinner.

Goals for today, honestly right now I am just trying to make it through the day, I want to stay under the calorie limit, and probably do a few miles on the treadmill, I was going to do today as a rest day but remembered I wont be home long enough on Thursday to do anything... Well actually I might I don't know it depends on how long Justin's appointment takes. *side tracked* Anyway yes I may do 2 or so miles after dinner, and depending on how I feel when I get home I may do 2 miles when I get home.

So that's that, I need to plan out the meals to come so I can know what we are doing at home but that will be another day when I can keep my eyeballs opened!

Have a good day!
