Still hanging in there

Friday, May 22, 2015

Well today has been a super challenge-computer crashed 3 days ago and have to find a way to fix it-my job has presented other road-blocks -my husband has been out of work for over 6 months and just got a job with only a 12 week contract-really learning the definition of "need" and "want". It has been tough to stay focused on this challenge but it has helped me to stay on track as it has been my only constant in the past 10 weeks. Am looking forward to the Summer challenge. emoticon

emoticon We've been through the out of work bit. We now gave jobs we never expected and would never have looked for if we hadn't lost the ones we had. Hope computer gets sorted out - so frustrating!

Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it. If you don't take care of yourself you can't take care of anyone else.I know only too well about unemployment. Tell DH to go with the contract jobs, it may turn into something permanent. My last stint was last Oct. where I was out for 5 months at 61 years old. But the Lord provides. It helped me kind of stay on track, and I didn't gain any weight this time. Watch out for depression eating. It sneaks up so quickly. You can do it! We are here to help! Welcome and get active on this site. emoticon
