Pushing myself

I've reached this point with my fitness where I really enjoy pushing myself a little harder each time. On Saturday night, it was pushing my yoga poses a little further. Today, it was speeding up the treadmill and sticking with it to the end. I could feel it in my legs and I considered slowing down...but I didn't. I kept on going and made it through! I feel awesome!

These little moments are huge! My body is changing, but more importantly, my mind is changing. It's giving me the confidence to try other things, or push myself to try something new.

To add to this...when I started back to the gym, I had committed to 2 days per week, Tuesday & Thursday. This week, I had to shift my schedule due to meetings and went on Monday and Wednesday. I've now decided to add the 3rd day - Friday! It'll really boost my results and I know it'll feel awesome! Not to mention, I actually enjoy going to the gym. I just think it's really cool that when I think about when I started and thinking...Ok, 2 days per can do that. Now, I'm to the point of, yes, I can do that...but now I want more!

So, that's my story for today! Yay!! emoticon emoticon
