Day 122/ I'm BACK!

Saturday, May 02, 2015

Hello again! I've been sorta depressed and not doing well at all, I should have posted that I was going to be out for a while, but I didn't even realize, I just sorta stopped. I'm back, sorry I've been out for so long.

emoticon I didn't start back working out last Monday like I said I would. My fatigue has gotten so much worse, it's hard just to get out of bed in the morning. Caffiene is my best friend right now.

emoticon I went in for a physical last Wednesday and got a ton of labs I need to get done, I'll be going in Monday morning, bright and early to get that done (have to fast for them). Last time I saw the doctor she didn't seem too concerned about my fatigue, but this time she did, perhaps because it is getting worse, or perhaps because she had a student following her around. I've been told that it sounds like my thyroid is off. And that can cause your hormones to be off as well.

emoticon I'm going to try to work out starting Sunday. Can't on Monday b/c I can't have water before I do the fasting labs. Sunday I won't get up super early to work out, I'll just do it when I get up. I won't be going to church b/c my youngest has poison ivy all over her face, poor thing. Don't want to give it to anyone! First week back at working out I'm going to start real slow and just do some step aerobics. Next week I'll add the workout DVD back in too. Hopefully I can get back in the swing of things real quick.

emoticon emoticon I've got to change the way I eat. I haven't been doing a good job. Have been eating a lot of rich foods of late. Lots of pasta too. Haven't been drinking my shakes for breakfast (that will change when I start working out). I have to get on to myself and my hubby for doing a lot of foods I should not be eating.

emoticon Please pray for my husband. DH is having a hard time at work and may lose his job. He's trying to get transferred to another department, and has people putting in a good word for him, but I still worry. Last year in April he lost his job b/c the small company he worked for went belly up (due to the owner not being so good with money). I don't want to have to go through that again

emoticon I missed you all! The support I get from SP is such an integral part of motivating myself to work out and eat better!

Your thyroid does control soooo much in your system! fatigue, weight, depression, etc!
I am glad you are having some tests run. I hope your husband is able to transfer, the work place is so unstable any more. I imagine it would be difficult to have to begin another job.

    hang in there!
