Planting Season

Saturday, May 02, 2015

I got to spend the day with my Hubby today. He went with me to my workout and sat watching t.v. and reading the paper in the lounge area. I had quite the workout, too bad he missed it. LOL He was more interested in finding fish for lunch and getting our shopping done. Found the fish, we tried a restaurant that we had not been to before. It was a bit disappointing and I don't think we will go back. But the best part--by far!---was the shopping! We picked up more plants for my herb garden--planting season is here! I am so excited! I love planting my herbs and watching them grow, most of all, I love using them! I can't wait for them to get big enough to use. I picked up my very first Strawberry Mint and Chamomile, I'm not finished though, I still have a couple of herbs I'm looking to add to the garden. We also got the last of our tomatoes--a great looking yellow cherry tomato. We have discovered that we really love them!
At the end of the day, I am very tired and in quite a bit of pain. I have taken some Aleve, iced my knee and rubbed on some Aspercreme, it all seems to be helping a bit. Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight. Sometimes the pain is such that it interferes with my sleep. I made 7,600 steps today, still can't make the 10,000 but I'll keep on working at it. LOL May the Great Spirit send you blessings!

lol- your hubby, that's funny. And Yummm... Strawberry Mint! Haven't heard of that one. Did smell a Pineapple Mint that was lovely and even saw a Chocolate Mint!? Hadn't heard of that one myself. I wish you good luck with your planting/ plants! Am totally jealous of the tomatoes though! Since I moved to the city I tried in several years past and had no luck so this is the first year I won't be planting them. Do have a wonderful aunt that said she'd share though! :) emoticon
