30 Days of Yoga - Day 3 and 4

So yesterday I got a bit sidetracked and forgot to post day 3. So yesterday was all about balance which I discovered I have quite a lot of. The first time round I was wiggling all over the place but I definitely found it a lot easier to maintain my balance this time.

Although the video was the same length as the previous day's I felt like the time really flew by. I felt like I was just getting into the rhythm when it was time to relax and finish. I think that speaks to the improvements that I have made with the practice that I can find it easy at times.

I've just finished day 4 which had a lot of plank poses. It's only recently that I have been able to hold plank properly for more than about 1 second so I found today very challenging. I am proud of the fact that I was able to keep the pose going through all the movements and, although my arms were shaking, I kept my breath and told myself not to give up and I got through it.

I found the rest of today's video was relaxing and motivating, I was able to move more freely than I have been and I didn't feel worried about the moves. The only challenge was the cat, who decided to join me on the mat and lick and bite me (not hard, she's a strange cat) while I was trying to concentrate.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's video.
