I'm down 13lbs today! I can't believe it! One of these days I'll start taking my other measurements because I know my body is changing more than the scale is showing. Clothes are fitting better, and my belly just doesn't seem quite so bumpy.
The best part? I'm happy. And it's not just because of the weight loss. It's because I'm making positive changes in my life. I haven't had a Diet Coke in a month! WHAT?!? I have my coffee in the morning, and then switch to water with lemon during the day. I go through 2 or 3 cups of water a day (24oz cup). I'm not eating mindlessly when I get home from work or before bed. I've pretty much stopped watching tv in the evenings, just because I want to go up to read and go to sleep. (Or enjoy some time with my hubby *wink-wink*). I'm finding other things to do when I'm bored, instead of eating.
It feels good. I don't know what switch went off in my head suddenly, but I hope it doesn't switch back! I just keep thinking positively that this will continue. I deserve it! It's nice to focus on me, instead of everyone else. Maybe that's the secret, I'm doing this for me...and no one else.
