30 Days of Yoga - Day 2

I've done this challenge before but I started again yesterday and today's practice has made me realise that I don't just want to do yoga any more I NEED to do it.

For starters I am so much stronger than I was when I started this challenge the first time. I can hold plank!! Not something I've ever had much success at before. I can move through poses easier (it's still not easy though!) I'm more connected to myself while I'm practising, it's not just about getting it done and moving on anymore.

Today I have realised that yoga helps to keep me even, emotionally. Before practice I felt so squished and tight, inside, I was having trouble focusing and generally feeling happy. Now, after practice, I feel like myself again. I feel free and pleased with myself and the world around me.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow's experience is going to be like.

    Just wanted to say emoticon for your blog today!! It inspired me to check out the yoga and start Day 1!! I feel amazing!! emoticon It was the PERFECT start too - lots of stretching and nothing that will leave me unable to move tomorrow!
