Stomach Flu = Detour

Last week was a total off week for me. I was so tired all week. I blamed it first on the crazy neighbors keeping us up until midnight with the crazy drama and cops being called. But I now know it was because I was getting sick. Friday morning at 3am it all came to a head with me running to the bathroom and me "tossing my cookies" for 2 hours. After that it was just a bathroom-sleep kind of day. I joked with my girlfriend that I should have days like this before my weigh in days as I was down 9lbs. I was TOTALLY kidding though because I want to drop weight because of hard work, not because I'm sick.
It took me from 8am to 5pm just to drink an 8oz bottle of apple juice and it took all I had to keep that down. I added in crackers and soup later that night and just that knocked me out. I haven't slept so much in one day in such a long time. The part that bothered me and even scared me a little was the stomach cramping I had. It was like my body was trying to punish me from drinking or eating anything.
Yesterday was a little bit better. I started the day with some toast and that stayed down. Followed by a lot of crackers, soup and fruit water ice. This morning I actually woke up hungry so I had a cup of coffee and a Shakeology shake made with water, a scoop of P90X Recovery, mixed fruit, vanilla Shakeology and ice. I'm almost done with both and feel fantastic! Debating on if I have another shake for lunch and make it with some PB, cashew milk and chocolate Shakeology. By dinner I will try eating solid foods again. At this point I welcome back feeling normal.
So because of this I also am pushing back the start of Turbo Fire. With just coming back from this I know it would be FAR too much to do that this week. I need to give my body time to recover from this nasty bug. So my focus this week is going to be my food and getting in 3+ miles a day of walking. The days that I have to take my daughter to school I will be walking to and from my car to my work, and the days that I take the train I will be walking to and from my house to the train. Both will give me round trip over 3 miles. On days that I'm feeling great I will be mixing in the Upper fix and Lower fix from 21DF to get in some weights. But the main thing is to keep it light so that my body can have the recovery time so that I can push it hard later.
