218 is the new 260!

So i have to say that i'm super happy to say that i've lost 40lbs.... I have to growl at the fact that now i'm STUCK at 218... Since January..... I'm not doing anything different.... I even cut soda for two weeks to help bring it down, but nothing budged. (cut way back, but i cut it out entirely for 2 weeks just to see) So i've got to start doing things different i guess huh.... I've started riding my bike to work, instead of driving... its only a block & a half a way ( i walked last summer, when it was nice, but now i have wheels :) ) Plateauing is frustrating.... Makes me want to give up and just binge.... But then i look at my "progress" pictures and count my blessings that i'm not that 260# girl anymore.... I don't feel much different from then til now....but .... i know i LOOK alot different! I have a jawline (still with the "double chin" but i can hide it now!) My 18's are loose, but my 16s are still tight (some more than others) ... Other than walking & Biking & Roller blading, i need to find some low impact workouts as i can't do sit ups or anything involving me leaning back on my tailbone.... i broke it as a youngster and any pressure on it, causes pain :/ i want so bad to be closer to my goals come July.... Mental block of not wanting to work to get it though.... I hate sweating, i highly dislike not getting my "junk food"..... That "fat girl"'s still in there, and she's pulling me by the chains to keep me back :(

Keep up the great work! Great to get rid of the soda! When I hit a plateau in the past even though I was working hard at exercise, I switched it up and used Leslie sansone walk videos. They are low impact and the weight started coming off again, worked like a charm for me. They are about $10 at Walmart.

Hey! You are doing great girl, and I have to tell you that I truly admire the progress you've made. I would love to see 218 again, but I have to work at it more than I am. I know those plateaus can be frustrating, but they don't have to be deadly (in the weight loss way). Hang in there...maybe the increase in exercise (bike riding) will help you get over the hump.

Just don't give up! I think you are doing great!
