Quick Check-in With/For Self

So today was a lot of in-head time, not very much in-body time.

I sat most of the day. Many of the grand plans for the day petered out. Did a great job cooking and eating what's in the house. With income really tight right now, I have to stay vigilant about using what's on hand and only carefully supplementing with vegetables, eggs, and bone-in meats from the store. I think I'm almost out of things in the freezer, except I just remembered as I'm typing that I froze a pack of chicken thighs (two thighs per baggie). Going to set a bag in the fridge to defrost tonight.

What's hardest for me, and most necessary, is movement. So the FitBit is set to awaken me at 630 am every weekday, and the mission is to get up, get dressed, and get walking as soon as possible--by 645 ideally and no later than 7.

Get out of your head, chica, and into your body. Even though this is a busy week requiring a lot of headstuff, bodystuff will make you feel better between deadlines.

Absolutely right. The "in body" time will make you feel better.
Hang in there. You're worth it.

As a fellow thinker, just thoughts I'd throw this out there. Most of the time, I'd rather spend in-head time than in-body time. (I like your phrasing.) Recently, I started writing my goals in a notebook every single day. And then I think about (and write) why I'm doing them. Why are they important to me. Everyday is a different answer. The final exercise is writing 2 things I can do today to move me in that direction. It's funny because a lot of times it will be just the thing that gets me up and moving. Just a thought. emoticon Chica
