Same Old, Same Old

I just read over my last blog from almost a year ago.

The last line I wrote that blogging helped me the first time around. Here I go not taking my own good advice. I'm going to really try to blog at least once a week. If I can do that it will make staying on track easier for me.

After I get over this sinus infection I'm going to hit the gym like I was in the weeks leading up to being sick. I was working on weight lifting which I enjoy a lot more than running. I wish I could figure out the best workouts for weight lifting. I want to increase muscle/decrease fat while not bulking. Do I just go up a few pounds every week? More reps with more weight? Less reps with more weight?

I feel like there's gotta be a good way to go about it.

    Less reps more weight for sure. I work with a trainer and for most exercises we do 3 sets 8-10 reps at a weight that is heavy but not so heavy I can't finish. I can message you a sample of my workout if you are interested.

    I'm not good for advice on how to do it but what I've heard is that intensity matters most and weights (or body weight as in push-ups and planks and squats) are very important. Good to see you here! If you blog, I will read! I'm just starting to blog again. I think it helped me so much after even posting one blog!
