On Tuesday, I dared my Spririted Underdawgs team to do an extra 5 minutes of exercise a day. I am proud to say that today I got in an extra 10!!

That may not seem like a lot, but due to an upcoming surgery and chronic pain, any exercise done is a great day. My current short-team goal is to be able to to walk 1-1.5 miles by May 30th, the end of the Spring 5% Challenge. I am proud to say that today, I walked .7 miles. It may not be what I used to do, but it felt awesome. I have a buddy I walk with daily and she keeps me motivated.

Tracking food, daily walks and starting strength training and my next short & long-term goals.

Will get to my healthy lifestyle change, it may take longer than I hoped, but I will get there.

You are such an inspiration! I am glad you have someone to walk with. I used to walk with a friend, but then she started working crazy hours, so now it's just me and my MP3.

Wow MaryAnn, this is really awesome. Quite the accomplishment for someone in pain. You inspire me. I am so glad ou have a buddy to walk with . Mine moved away, 3 years ago. It was such a pleasure to walk out the door with a friend, and we didn't have to think, just phone and walk. We had a good 15 years of that, including working around our different work hours. So happy for you
The weather helps too!! Enjoy your Spring walks my Friend.
