Geeking out Fitness Style
Monday, April 13, 2015
I never thought I would write anything like this. I am a member of a gym that I enjoy going to. It is an Anytime Fitness and yes, there are a few lunkheads, but on the whole it is a pretty chill group of people. We say hi to each other and treat each other like respected humans, so its a good place to be. And, they have a private room that you can do workout videos in. This is my number one place to be, and my current favorite is Sean Levesque and his HIIT 20 minute workout from Wellbeats.
In the ladies bathroom there are post its with inspirational sayings on them and one of them said "Don't be stingy with your compliments".
I tell you that to tell you this. I took the don't be stingy with the compliments thing to heart and posted on the Wellbeats facebook page about my love for Sean and his workout. It's really good and my daughter and I love doing it. And, today he responded! It was like being answered by an A list celebrity for me. I guess my love and respect for the man who is making my body a working machine, with muscle and everything has earned his rockstar reputation with me. Below is the whole post.

Sean Levesque has to be our favorite workout guru to date. My daughter and I are doing the 20 minute HIIT video at Oshkosh WI Anytime and are loving the pace. And we still giggle like 12 year old boys every time he says "buttocks".

Sean Levesque Thanks for the shout out Cheryl and keep up the great work! Please tell your daughter "HI" for me and give her a high five the next time you work out with her using WELLBEATS!

Wellbeats Haha, that's awesome Cheryl! Sean's the best isn't it? WAY TO GO making fitness apart of your mother-daughter relationship. What a great way to build memories together

I never thought I would be so excited to get a reply by a fitness expert, but I guess when you really find something you like and it starts to pay off, getting that tiny boost, regardless of where it comes from really gets you in the mood to keep going.
So thank you to the Sparkpeople community for being here for so long, and waiting patiently for me to get my butt in gear, to Sean Levesque and the Wellbeats group for producing such fun and invigorating HIIT videos, and to the Anytime Fitness team for being the place where all this is happening.
Now, time to hit the gym!
