Moving along

Friday, April 10, 2015

Last week was spent fulfilling my civic duty. In other words, I had jury duty. I tried to eat as healthy as I could that week. Found a great sandwich shop near the court house that I could walk to and then enjoyed lunch outside. I did not sleep much that week with trying to record lectures for my classes so we did not get behind. I did start exercising again on Good Friday :) However Monday I work up not feeling well so it took me a while to work out again. I took two days off. Now feeling better and working out in the morning again.

I have been going to the gym on days that I don't run. I have been doing the elliptical. It has been helping when I run. I have been slowly working my way through C25K. I am on week 4 right now. I feel that I am doing better. I do not know if I should be focusing on distance or speed right now. I might do another few runs using week 4's set up before moving to week 5.

I just started piyo. I am going to try to work them in when I can to help tone. I do not want flaps of skin cause of losing weight too fast. I have read that if you tone and do strength training, it will help with that. I enjoyed the one that I did today. Will see if I can continue with it or wait till after the semester is over.

I have lost quite a bit of weight so far. I am hoping that I can get to 250 sometime this summer. I would love to be at 200 around Christmas time. I would love to surprise my parents and family with a new me when we meet up in Florida.
