My Choices...My Results

Easter was a normal day for us. We don't have any family in the state and our hiking plans got rained out. So I cleaned the house!! We ate normally and I recorded everything as usual.
Last night I was reading a post on Facebook about a woman's family Easter. Her nieces were offering her candy, her aunt was trying to guilt her into eating the cheesy potatoes, her father offered her drink after drink, and her mother finally announced to the whole assemblage: "BETH IS ON A DIET! SHE'S NOT EATING ANYTHING!"
Well, of course Beth was eating, just not the candy, the desserts, the fat-laden side dishes or the alcohol!
She ended her post by saying she knew her family was free to do their thing, and she really didn't care what they thought about hers. Beth was comfortable with her decision not to pig out on Easter Sunday and ended with: "MY CHOICES....MY RESULTS."
And I have to say I love that. If you don't like your results, change your choices. How simple is that?
