well, what Easter means to me is the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ .. and the price He paid for me to live eternally with Him and the Father.. it is a reminder of the price that we must never forget as it was a BIG price .. thank you Jesus for laying down your life so i could take up mine .. I LOVE YOU !!

well, like everyone else when i had small children we celebrated with colored eggs and egg hunts, chocolate and candy (and we hid the candy too, and with 4 children there was lots of hidden stuff so we made maps of where EVERYTHING was, especially the egg.. LOL, with names on everything to make sure each child had 'even' amounts .. if your name wasn't on it you didn't choose it even if you found it, and if you did, you didn't tell .. then we played hot and cold for any unfound items) ..then we had a nice family dinner of ham, and cheesy potatoes (or mashed), and green bean casserole, homemade noodles/or dumplings, and deviled eggs to get rid of some of those eggs... LOL .. and wow, pick a favorite part out of all that?? impossible .. but we made sure the children understood the day was not really about bunnies and chocolate and colored eggs, but that it was a celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and how he saved us all !!
